Gazela in Atlantic Basin, NYC
Gazela docked in New York City for the first time in 10 years. Captain Rob Rustchak and a crew of 29, including seven performers from Cabaret Red Light, sailed Gazela slowly up the Jersey coast, arriving at the Atlantic Basin in Brooklyn.
Besides being greeted by many curious vessels and even a deferential ferry, Gazela's arrival caught the notice of the New York Times as well as that of two well-known maritime bloggers, Will van Dorp's Tugster and The Old Salt Blog.
